Artworks - Geoffrey Robinson

Geoffrey RobinsonGeoffrey Robinson was born in East Africa in 1945 and after spending 7 years in New Zealand from 1948, he moved, with his family, to England, where he attended Bournemouth College of Art in 1961. After a successful career working within advertising and the music industry, it was not until 1990 when Geoffrey began to seriously exhibit his paintings. Since then he has shown with many UK galleries including Lena Boyle Fine Art, Stour Gallery, Grapevine Gallery, Mullan Gallery and has been asked to exhibit a solo show at Thompson’s Gallery, London in 2008. Collectors of Robinson’s work include Lord Puttnam, George Michael and Quentin Wilson, alongside several public works in the Royal Bournemouth Hospital, St. George’s Healthcare NHS Trust and Russell-Cotes Art Gallery and Museum. He has appeared in an half-hour ITV documentary filmed in his home and studio called ‘The Frame’.
