From an early age Alison has embraced her enthusiasm for Fine art, with frequent visits to The St. Ives School of Art, taking her formal art training at Epsom School of Art & Design and Harrow College (B.A. hons). It was on her first visit to St. Ives School of Art in Cornwall, as a teenager, that she first met artist’s Roy Ray and Bryan Pearce and discovered the joy of sketching and painting ‘en plein air’ surrounded by the changing Cornish landscape.Alison's energetic landscapes are worked in acrylic incorporating collage and mixed media.
